Apple has introduced a new feature for the iPhone OS 4.0 called iAd, which will revolutionize mobile advertising. The iAd will keep the user within the app itself, and allows the user to view the ad and return to the app. As most of the apps are used to get information from the Internet, users do not have to worry about clicking on the ads, and losing information.
Since the iAd is within the OS, Apple has been able to create interactive video content without taking the user away from the app. The iAd aims at being more interactive than the ads on the web. Developers will get 60% of the generated revenues.
