Compared to the 1.20 billion dollars in 2009, the US m-Commerce sales are predicted to hit the 2.42 billion dollar mark this year, followed by 23.83 billion dollars in 2015. The m-commerce sales totaled to 0.86% of e-commerce sales in 2009. It is presumed that these figures would go up by 1.53% and 8.58% this year, and by 2015 respectively.
It is believed that with the increase in number of the high end mobiles (from 45 million in 2009 to 78 million this year, to reach 194 million by 2015), its users would be the dominant leaders in further escalating these m-commerce sales figures.
